"Taxpayer" building? Surviving tenement on West 57th Street

Among all the high rise 1920's luxury apartment buildings on West 57th Street in Manhattan, an old tenement survives...gentrified, of course.
It may have valuable air rights for street behind it and also may just be what real estate people call a "taxpayer"--building whose income just pays for the upkeep and taxes, holding the land for future development if they can get it past the Zoning Board.
