Given this heat wave, this sign is not bad advice...
Glaring sun and humidity are certainly no better above ground than in the subway...
So it is down the rabbit hole into the subway...
Which, after all, has some pleasant new distractions here and there in the decor...BUT
You cannot BELIEVE the NOISE LEVELS...being near the din of this happy drummer is like being next to a helicopter landing pad....and so it is with great relief that you finish your trip...
And, only ten minutes from Times Square the leafy streets of Kips Bay/Murray Hill seem so calm and comforting to come home to.....
