Another doorway for Frank Lloyd Wright to Hate...this one with owls

Saw  this fancy medieval cloisterish doorway up in Yorkville today....another example of what architects like Frank Lloyd Wright and of course Mies van der Rohe were fighting so hard against...

Someone told me that they have owls on top of doorways like this not for some symbolic reason, but because some people think the owls will scare away pigeons. Ha...takes an awful lot to scare a pigeon really in NYC
