J&R-- one of the famous bargain stores for electronics including cameras (like B&H)

Whenever I mention to people I need a new little minimal function digital camera, they always recommend I check out J and R downtown or B and H in Midtown.

I know B and H has great bargains, but  for me it can also be a madhouse. I have somehow never been to J and R.
I am not endorsing either of them....just reporting on what people here say all the time.
