Pertaining to the Astaire Dance Studios, one of my friends joked, "Who gets the royalties?" HA--nothing is ever a joke these days when it comes to royalties or copyright if somebody really gets steamed...for instance, after running out Italian topics to parody/distort in his own unique way, the Director Federico Fellini did a film called "Fred and Ginger," about the TV show of a superannuated dance duo who just won't quit even though they should have long ago...he meant it to be a satire on television and culture...HOWEVER, Ginger Rogers was still alive at the time and INDIGNANT and sued the pants off Fellini. Moral: Watch out for Ginger Rogers and never assume anyone is safely dead until proven so.
