TIMH New Project

Friends,

We, at The Training Institute for Mental Health (TI), are grateful for your loyal support and dedication to our work as a not-for-profit.  Without your generosity, we would not be able to meet the increasing need for the affordable, high-quality psychotherapy we provide to low-income New Yorkers, the advanced training in psychoanalytic psychotherapy for emerging professionals, and the workshops, conferences and lectures that we host.

Given all that TI does, it is vital that we stay current and make upgrades that will keep us strong and vital for years to come.

To this end, we are asking you and other agency stakeholders to support a new initiative – TI Capacity Building Project 2016 – which will help to modernize TI while making the agency even more self-reliant, cost-effective and streamlined.  Your donation will help us create and/or develop:

A new Interactive Learning Center in our Conference Room, centered by a state-of-the-art flat-screen Samsung television/media center capable of hosting online presentations, webinars, film screenings and other informational content.

A new Documentation and Correspondence Center, which includes an upgraded multimedia copy machine with diverse printing, scanning, and faxing options, a postage machine, a credit card machine, and Theranest, an innovative online system for scheduling appointments and maintaining patient records.

A revitalized website that will provide the highest level of design, search engine placement, and social media optimization.  The website will be more visually pleasing, more modern in style, and more welcoming and inviting to patients considering TI.

If you have any questions, please contact John McCaffrey, TI Director of Development, at 212-627-8181 or jamccaffrey@earthlink.net

We thank you in advance for your support of this initiative, and for all you do and have done, on behalf of TI over the years.

With great appreciation,

Lee Kramer, LCSW
Executive Director
