I'm hosting two great events next week that I hope you will join me for. Next Thursday, the 27th, is my 10th Annual Senior Resource Fair at Temple Emanu-El. On Friday, the 28th, I'm presenting a roundtable discussion on fossil fuel divestment at Baruch College.Â

Also, this coming Monday, the 24th, the Community Education Council for District 2 will be hosting a meeting about Pre-K availability, at PS 6. And on Thursday the 27th, there will be a community forum on the Mount Sinai Beth Israel reorganization. There is a change of venue for this event, and it will now be held at the Mason Hall Auditorium at Baruch College.

Senator Liz Krueger's Tenth Annual Senior Resource Fair:
My tenth annual Senior Resource Fair will take place Thursday, October 27th from 2:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. at Temple Emanu-El, One East 65th Street (at Fifth Avenue). Over 500 people attended last year’s event. This year we will have over 50 exhibitors from non-profits and city and state agencies with information for Older Adults. Admission is free. Light refreshments will be served. NO RSVP NECESSARY. For further information, call (212) 490-9535.
