The Anna Keefe Women's Center "Journeys Happen Here" PRESENTS: TransParenthood: Exploring motherhood, fatherhood and transgender identity.

What does it mean to be a parent, and be transgender?  In this engaging and provocative workshop, we explore the intersection between these two profoundly meaningful identities.

Presenter: Heather Church, M.D., is a Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist and is European Board Certified in both Adult Psychiatry and Child & Adolescent Psychiatry.  She obtained her medical degree from Trinity College, Dublin, Ireland.  Dr. Church won the Henry Hutchinson Stewart Scholarship for best original research in Ireland for her work on transgender parents’ relationships with their children.    WHEN:  Friday, May 20th 2016 TIME:  6:00 pm WHERE:  The Training Institute for Mental Health 115 West 27th Street 4th Floor New York, NY 10001 Suggested donation of $10.
