A Salute to Dennis Smith, FDNY Firefighter , Author and Philanthropist

I will never forget how much I was impressed by Dennis Smith's first book, and how much I enjoyed some of his later ones.

Smith is a notorious philanthropist for the benefit of Firefighters with all the money he has made

We have not heard much from him in ages, last word was that he was in the Phillipines

Since he too worked on the pile after September 11, we can only pray that he is still surviving in good health

His book" Firefighters in their Own Words" is not that well know but a real classic
