East Meadow, NYI'm not a big fan of antiques, but this store takes the stuffiness out and leaves the cool in. Always something new & interesting to discover.
Tip: If you're looking for an antique doorknob, this is the place for you. -

Really cool shop with antiques. So fun to look around.
Their custom made tables made from reclaimed wood and farm parts are really beautiful...if only I lived nearby so I could have one in my home! -

Manhattan, NYI had a bad experience with a staff member. I called the boss and they called back straight away and really helped. I was hopping mad at first but Jim (manager) was a bastion of professionalism and really helped.
I was never going to shop there again but now I will.
Their stuff is great. -

If your in the Village or Union Square, I know you guys have seen the flatbed truck that has a lot of antique furniture. There is also statue of a pink elephant and a roaring lion. I have seen this dozens of times. I didn't know that this was store nearby.
I came in with a friend and we took a look around. They have one of a kind and very unique items. Things that caught my eye were the original light fixtures from Terminal 8 in the JFK Airport. They were huge. They also have windows from the Flatiron Building for sale as well.
If you have the money and is currently redecorating your home. I definitely insist that you check this place out. -

Pretty cool store, a gem found while randomly wandering. They had a truck a block over with carnival-looking antiques in it, definitely piqued my interest.
Upon entering, found some very cool items for sale - as it is an antiques store in Manhattan some were definitely expensive, but they had some really cool items I was definitely considering - even old painted tin wallcoverings at pretty good prices ($35 for 11" x 11"). If you're in the area, check it out, definitely worth a looksie. -

Manhattan, NYI really like wandering into this store and looking around, when I'm in the neighborhood.
Unfortunately, there's nothing in here I can afford, but it's good to know that there is a store for me should I ever need an antique door knob or a key of a certain make. Or if I needed a big statue or chandelier of some kind, that Olde Good Things will be there for me. -

Berkeley, CASo I am going to be "kind" and give the store people the benefit and go with they are just really creepy but not racist:
I stopped by here on the way to meet a friend, Just left of the entrance was a woman sitting on a bench. It was not immediately apparent that she was a worker as she smiled at me. She said "Hi" as I passed.
"Hello," I greeted back.
"Have you been here before?" she asked.
("What the... Do I need a referral? This is not a Pinkberry, there is no special way to buy antiques that I don't know about" was my internal dialogue) "Nope" I grinned back.
"Did someone tell you about us?" she pressed.
("Okay, seriously. What the f-ck? Aren't you just peddling antiquities. Is this some sort of front for a human trafficking ring? Do you not want me to shop here?)
"I just walked by and saw the sign" (You know the one that advertises you as business to the general public)
"Oh, ok" she responded. (OK indeed)
Aside from that, this place has tons of interesting relics. But, many of which you can find cheaper elsewhere and with better company.
