Manhattan, NYI always order the Vegetables or Eggplant in Basil Sauce. It's always good...sometimes just a tab bit too greasy though. Almost weekly, my colleagues and I order lunch for delivery. We're on 40th street and we still get our order pretty quickly. My coworkers have ordered the Classic Fried rice (the love it but complain they don't get enough of it in the bowl) and they've also ordered and loved the I Love Pad Thai. So overall, I'm definitely a fan of this place and I know a few people who are too.
Only slight issue I had was talking to the people who answer the phone...their english is not that great but if you are patient and to the point it should work out well.
It's a sit down place...small and intimate. I've seen groups of 3 or 4 at most but I guess for a larger group they would probably put the tables together. -

Manhattan, NYA great Thai place to order takeout. Find them on Seamless, and your order will be delivered hot and quick. My personal favorites are the pad Thai and pad see eew, which are flavorful and come as spicy as you want them. Not the absolute best Thai in the city, but a solid 4 out of 5. -

Vienna, VAWent in here on a whim during their lunch special. I actually ended up just getting calamari. I really enjoyed it; I thought it wasn't too deep fried as the calamari still had some freshness to it. The sweet and sour chili sauce was excellent as it wasn't overly sticky. The f'lavor was more subtle than other ones I have had. I tried my friend red curry. It was perfectly fine. -

New York, NYIt is SOOOO frustrating to order here. The girls who answer the phone do not speak English very well so I have to repeat my order about 8 times and when I go to pick up my food, it's ALWAYS wrong. I hate calling to get food, but it's so good I have to get it.
I really do love the food here - their Spicy Noodles and Pad Se Ew are AMAZING. Their spring rolls are nothing to write home about and their Pad Thai tastes way different here than any other Thai restaurant I've been to.
My boyfriend and I usually order the lunch specials on the weekend. One weekend when we called, it kept ringing and ringing. So we ordered from somewhere else. We thought that maybe they were ignoring us because we get so frustrated with not understanding them. Then we walked by the restaurant and they have a tiny handwritten sign on the door that says they don't open for lunch anymore on the weekends, only dinner. UGH. It would be nice if they updated their website with that or even a voice message! -

I really enjoyed this place!
Just went last night and ordered the Basil Sauce stir fry. I found the food tasty, fresh, and BYOB is definitely an advantage. I'd go again. -

Manhattan, NYSolid food all the time. The crab rangoon is really really awesome. -

New York, NYIt should be renamed "F+ Thai". Waited close to an hour and a half for one dish which arrived iced cold and another which was so overcooked that it was inedible. The second dish was also almost entirely free of any of the sauce and vegetables it was supposed to come with. It's a shame since this used to be a decent restaurant, but I can honestly say it is now the worst Thai I have ever had. -

New York, NYPerfect BYOB spot. A+ Thai offers an extensive and affordable menu making it a really enjoyable spot for a nice dinner without breaking the bank. I am completely impressed with the chicken pad thai, which I am very picky about. It's delicious here. The portions are generous and the service is really pleasant, and you really don't feel as rushed as some BYO places. You can walk out of there for $20 pp all in, including shared apps and entree, a pretty amazing deal for NYC. It's on the smaller side, so making a reservation is usually recommended. -

New York, NYWow. Despite the scoutmob coupon I feel like I wasted money dining here with my gf.
Let's start from the Pad Thai. Tasteless, spineless, ingredients not fresh, slimy, very dry chicken (felt like it was pre-cooked). It came in less than 5 minutes after we ordered it, which can only be bad news.
Mega roll dumplings. tasted and looked like they were left waiting for a while, low quality meat, the garnish looked as old as my spare pair of glasses.
I have absolutely no reason to ever go back.
Why can't I find a Thai place in NYC that is consistently good? WHY? -

New York, NYSince new management took over, not only have I found the food to be of inconsistent quality & flavor, but the service and overall attitude to be wanting on all accounts.
I see no reason that a dish you requested to be prepared "spicy, taste completely bland. I also don't understand or appreciate that after waiting for various dishes to be prepared so that I can take them with me, that only one dish was prepared. The waiter, who does not speak much English, failed to write down my order, thus, I wasted 20 minutes of my time waiting for something the kitchen had no idea I'd ordered. When I asked the lady at the register why there was so much confusion, she looked away, said "oh well" and laughed.
Sad to see a once promising new restaurant take such a dive. A better attitude and communication skills are sorely needed. -

First I ordered from A+ Thai Place through Seamless (aka the worst service on earth!) and my food arrived VERY late... by HOURS. After some investigation it turns out there were technical issues with Seamless (again, they suck, so no shock!) but it was still really frustrating... and then there was a lovely apology note in the delivery bag and it was so delicious I had to try it again!
I ordered again today - same dishes - from http://GrubHub.com (fantastic!!!) and I am so glad I did. The Pad See-Ew with chicken has many huge pieces of white meat chicken - I've never seen so much chicken in this dish from any other Thai restaurant - and the edamame appetizer was fresh and huge. SO TASTY! My colleagues and I are going to order from here on a regular basis now that we can do it without stupid Seamless. -
