Interesting how Midtown has some small fire stations.This one seems to house an ambulance only, but it DOES have an engine, I have seen it on the street.
In fact, one of them came to a fire at my building! Luckily it was nothing serious. Really glad to see the firefighters there, though!!
None of the Midtown stations are set to be cut in the budget meltdown...
cuts ( I think except one) are all out in the Boroughs.
Everyone thinks Manhattan gets preferential treatment. It most likely does.
