Yes, it's summer....with Tropical Storm Andrea On the Way

Shame this really pretty parkland is at far edge of St. Vartan's, where not that many people can enjoy it as they walk by... I bet a lot of people on First Avenue hardly notice it.  If they are riding a Citibike past, they won't notice it at all except as a little colorful blur.

The first Tropical Storm of the season is headed this way, reminding us that the Hurricane Season has officially begun..

Andrea will apparently not do that much damage except for some flooding in the areas that the storms always flood, and some wind damage...trees weakened by earlier storms will come down and some people will be without power for a while in the Greater NYC area...
